Aruni Shapiro – Aruni Shapiro was born in Sri Lanka and studied at Kelaniya University and the University of British Columbia, where she earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, respectively, in Philosophy. She continued her studies and teaching in that field at Fresno State University and the University of Tennessee. She has authored seven books on topics ranging from American history to psychology. She is a Board Member of The Bastiat Society, USA. Aruni maintains a WordPress blog since 2010 in Sinhala to discuss ideas of Liberty and Free Market capitalism.
